Authorities seize thousands of marijuana plants from illegal operations in Spokane, Stevens Counties

SPRINGDALE, Wash. — Law enforcement officers seized thousands of  marijuana plants, guns and money from various illegal operations in both Stevens and Spokane Counties this week.

The Stevens County Sheriff’s Office worked on the investigation with the Washington State Patrol to seize the plants from residences in the Springdale and Addy areas. It was part of a larger operation that included five additional search warrants in Spokane County.

Authorities said they seized three guns, 8,841 plants and $87,000 from seven locations. Around 2,000 plants were taken from each of the Stevens County locations.
