Authorities reaching out to public to return recovered stolen items
SPOKANE, Wash. — On Sunday, two suspects were arrested for allegedly burglarizing a man’s home while he was sleeping.
During the execution of a search warrant gained through the investigation of the incident, Investigative Task Force Detective Smoldt noted several documents, and other items believed to be stolen were recovered.
On Tuesday, after the stolen property had been recovered, Spokane Valley Detective Smoldt determined a Honda generator, compound bow with arrows, and a bag full of high-end fly-fishing gear, was taken during a different garage burglary on May 30.
Detective Smoldt contacted that victim and returned the stolen property.

The Sheriff’s Office is hoping to return this property as soon as possible.
If you recognize any of the items and have already reported the theft, contact ITF Detective Mark Smoldt at 509-477-3139. The office would like you to leave a voicemail including your contact information and your report number if possible.
If you recognize any of the pictured property and have not reported the theft but can prove ownership, please call Crime Check at 509-456-2233 and report it prior to contacting Detective Smoldt.
