Local firefighters climb stairs to battle deadly diseases

Each year in March, firefighters from around the world travel to Seattle for the annual stairclimb at the Columbia Center. Ahead of that big day, local teams compete and hold fundraisers locally to raise awareness and money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. 

Spokane Police detain man after downtown altercation

One man was taken into police custody Wednesday morning after a fight downtown near 3rd and Washington. An officer on scene told KXLY the man pepper sprayed another man a couple blocks away and ran from police when they responded.
