As more snow falls, Schweitzer set to open more runs
SANDPOINT, Idaho — Your snow dances are working!
Schweitzer Mountain saw five inches of new snow fall from Wednesday night into Thursday morning, and more snow is on the way.
NOAA is predicting an additional 3 to 7 inches during the day Thursday and additional 6 to 10 inches to fall Thursday night.
Mountain officials expect to open Musical Chairs on Friday. The Basin Express Quad has already opened.
Friday is also Community Day at the mountain resort. Lift tickets are only $10 and all revenue will go to Bonner Partners in Care Clinic and Community Cancers Services.
