Arrest warrant issued for child rape suspect who failed to appear in court
An arrest warrant was issued Friday for a child rape suspect who failed to appear in court.
According to the Whitman County Prosecutor’s Office, 38-year-old Joshua Coniber is charged with six felonies for child rape and molestation.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, Coniber is suspected of raping and molesting an underage girl. The case began when the alleged victim reported the allegations to a staff member at her school.
Coniber’s readiness hearing was scheduled on Friday in Colfax, but authorities said he never showed up.
The warrant includes a $200,000 bond and is valid in Washington, Idaho and Oregon.
