Another arctic blast with a chance of light snow

An arctic blast moves in Monday which will bring a good chance of brief afternoon snow across NE Washington into the Idaho Panhandle.

The cold front will be accompanied by strong winds, especially in North Idaho, through Monday night. Peak gusts from Coeur d’Alene to Bonners Ferry could reach up to 45 mph. A wind advisory is in effect for North Idaho until midnight.

Overnight lows will dip into the teens for the beginning of this week, which could bring us near record-lows for this time of year. Tonight’s low is 12 degrees– we’re expecting to hit 15.
