An inside look at the new Flatstick Pub in downtown Spokane

Flatstick Pub is inching closer to officially opening in downtown Spokane.

A few road bumps have pushed the opening back, but owners Sam and Andy Largent said they are aiming for early December.

The Largents, who are Spokane natives, came up with the idea to create a space that not only boasts a hefty list of local beers, but is full of games to keep patrons entertained. The pub includes a mini golf course and original golf-themed games invented by the Flatstick team. Two brand new Flatstick-designed games are set to debut in the Spokane location.

Notice any personal touches? The owners of @FlatstickPub are Cougs! And yep, they are Spokane natives.

Flatstick is located in ground level of River Park Square’s newly renovated M Building, which previously housed Macy’s department store. The original location is located in Kirkland and there are two more locations in the Pioneer Square and South Lake Union areas of Seattle.

The pub will feature around 30 taps of independent, local beer, cider and wide.

The Spokane location plans to be open to minors until 7 p.m. daily and will be dog-friendly.
