A warm, windy start to the weekend
SPOKANE, Wash. — It’s felt more like spring than winter the past few days.
We even tied our record high of 49° on Friday! It will be unseasonably warm again on Saturday, but it will also be very windy.
A WIND ADVISORY has been issued for Saturday from 2 a.m. until 4 p.m. for the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene area.
Wind gusts of up to 50 mph are possible, which is enough for isolated power outages and some broken tree limbs.
Precariously secured Holiday décor is also in danger of being blown away.
The fast-moving front responsible for the wind will also bring a little snow to the mountains tonight and light rain or snow to the valleys.
