A short-lived warming trend in the forecast before the cool, showery weather returns – Kris
So far, May is continuing the cool, showery theme established in April! However, we are going to warm up for two short days before the below-average temperatures return. For Tuesday, highs will climb into the mid 60s, which is just a little above average. It’s not going to a bright, sunshiny day, but I think you’ll at least see some hints of blue skies. It will be even warmer for Wednesday, however, the prospect of our first 70°+ day of the season is looking less and less likely. Plan on highs in the upper 60s with partly to mostly cloudy skies.
A cool, wet weather pattern will return on Thursday and continue through at least the first part of the weekend. Right now, it looks like Saturday will be the most unpleasant of the two weekend days. Below average temperatures will continue through the middle of next week and beyond.
