A cool and showery start to the weekend
SPOKANE, Wash. — A slow-moving upper level trough will move into the region Thursday night.
There’s a slight chance of a few sprinkles Friday morning, but showers are more likely to develop in the afternooon, especially over the mountains of North Idaho.
High temperatures will be running about 10 degrees below average, topping out in the mid 50s.
Dry and slightly warmer weather is expected this weekend and through early next workweek.
Another weather system will bring a chance of showers and cooler weather by Tuesday.
