A cold, cloudier Wednesday- Matt
What we’re tracking
Skies will stay mostly cloudy today ahead of more cold air heading our way tonight. The arctic cold front will arrive overnight and lead to a breezy, cold Thursday.
Light snow will fall across the North Idaho and Northeast Washington mountains. Places like Bonners Ferry and Sandpoint could see a dusting of snow while the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene areas may see a flurry or two.
Plan your Wednesday
Fog and frosty windshields will remain an issue this morning. Dress for the teens and don’t expect nearly as much sun today as we saw Tuesday.
Spokane and Coeur d’Alene forecast
Temperatures will sink even colder once the new shot of arctic air settles in. Lows will be in the low teens Friday morning and could approach single digits.
Snow and wintry mix is likely Monday and Tuesday of next week and will make for messy travel conditions ahead of Thanksgiving.
