8-year-old boy shoots his 9-year-old brother inside Federal Way apartment
FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — A young boy shot his older brother while handling a handgun inside their family’s apartment on Thursday morning, police say.
The Federal Way Police Department investigated the incident, which occurred just before 8 a.m. at a multi-family housing complex in the 1200 block of South 336th Street.
Police say an 8-year-old boy shot his 9-year-old brother, who was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center. His condition is unknown.
The investigation is active, police said, and no other information is available as of 9:40 a.m.
