#4ThePeople: Where to drop your ballot and how to find your polling location

SPOKANE, Wash. — Election Day is one day away and there’s still time to both register and cast your vote.

In Washington, the deadline to register to vote is November 8 at 8 p.m. You must do so at your county elections office.

Those who just need to return their ballot can drop it in a designated ballot box or have it postmarked via USPS by 8 p.m. Tuesday. A stamp is not required.

Here are some of the places you can drop off your ballot across the Inland Northwest:

    • Deer Park Library
    • Fairfield Library
    • Hillyard Library
    • Liberty Lake Library
    • Medical Lake Library
    • Moran Prairie Library
    • North Spokane Library
    • Otis Orchards Library
    • Shadle Park Library
    • Spokane Valley Library
  • Other locations
    • Elections Office
    • CenterPlace Event Center
    • Latah Town Hall
    • Millwood City Hall
    • Rockford Town Hall
    • Spokane County Courthouse
    • Spokane Transit Authority Plaza
    • The Hive
    • Waverly Town Hall

The Indian Trail Library and South Hill Library drop-off boxes are closed due to construction at the libraries.

Those voting in Idaho can also register up until 8 p.m. on Election Day, but must do so in-person at their county elections office.

Idaho voters will need to go to their assigned polling location on Election Day to cast their vote. You can find your polling location by entering your address here.
