22-year-old University of Montana football player dead after apparent suicide
MISSOULA, Mont. — University of Montana football player Andrew Harris was found dead at his home in Missoula on Tuesday. According to the Missoulian, Missoula Police are investigating the incident as a suicide. He was 22 years old.
Harris was a red shirt for his first couple seasons with the Grizzles, then moved to a defense line as an edge rusher. He was a graduate of Glacier High School in Kalispell, Mont.
According to Harris’ University of Montana Athletics bio, he was a business management major, and both his dad and brother played football for University of Montana. His father, Greg Harris, played in the NFL for the 49ers and the Jets.
