OKANOGAN CO., Wash. — One man was killed and another injured in a two-car crash on State Route 153 near Pateros Sunday evening.

The Washington State Patrol said 39-year-old Tao Stettler was driving southbound and crossed the center line, striking another car head-on. That car was driven by 49-year-old Jason Dixon.

Both men were taken to Three Rivers Hospital. Stettler passed away there.

It is not clear what type of injuries Dixon suffered. WSP said he was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, but Stettler was not.

The road was closed for three hours, but has since reopened.
