SPOKANE, Wash. -

Jack Gularte and Jerry Havens had two goals each as Mt. Spokane topped Lewis and Clark, 5-0 to win the GSL championship.

It's the first ever out-right GSL boys soccer title for the Wildcats.

Robbie Powles also earned his 7th shutout in league play.  Both teams start district playoffs next week.

In high school softball, Shadle Park beat first-place Central Valley, 3-1.  The Bears have only lost two games all season - both to the Highlanders.
