The Spokane Indians fell to the Everett AquaSox 6-4 on Opening Day at Avista Stadium.

Texas Rangers first round draft pick Chi-Chi Gonzalez started on the mound for the Indians, but couldn't make it out of the second inning, allowing three runs on five hits and a walk.

Indians centerfielder Christopher Garcia had a triple and three RBI's, and shortstop Alberto Triunfel added an RBI.
