Will, basketball is back.
Here in the middle of football season we are talking
hoops here in the Kennel.
Kraziness in the Kennel here at the McCarthy athletic
center on Saturday.
A few weeks earlier than normal the Zags just starting
practice on Monday but the biggest story no doubt,
big man Pzremek Karnowski out all of last season with
Back here and a force to be reckoned with.
Teammates and head coach mark few just happy that
he is healthy.
How cool is that that he got a standing O when he
walked out there and everything that he has been through
I mean you can't help but just to root for him to
have massive success this year and just to stay healthy
and he is just something that other teams don't have.
It is awesome to just be back with all of them and
just battlin everyday and not worry about what is
going to happen with my back and I think that was
the key for me.
You know getting a standing ovation from everyone,
it was awesome and I just want to thank everyone who
stood up and who also came up to me personally before
I watched him a lot before I got here and to be on
the same floor court as him, it is an honor and he
is a great player and he is only going to make guys
around him better.
The other question around here, trying to get all
the new guys, transfers, freshman, 17 guys on the
roster this season.
But plenty of time for head coach Mark Few and company,
the first game, not until november 11th so over a
onth until the Zags get underway.
Covering the Zags at the kennel, I am Sarah Wheeler,
