Two standout Washington State football players were arrested over the weekend in Pullman, according to the Pullman Police Department.
Senior defensive end turned Buck linebacker, Travis Long, was arrested on Friday night for minor in possession of alcohol. The 2011 2nd-Team All-Pac-12 Selection turns 21 on Tuesday.
On Sunday, senior defensive tackle Anthony Laurenzi was arrested for third degree theft at the Pullman Walmart. Laurenzi is a projected starter for the 2012 season.
A statement sent to KXLY from the WSU Athletic Department said that coaches were aware of the arrests, and that it will be an internal matter going forward. The Cougs open fall camp on Thursday, 8/2.
