Red Wings sign Lashoff to extension

The Detroit Red Wings signed defenseman Brian Lashoff to a three-year contract extension on Monday. The deal is worth $2.715 million, according to MLive.com, and is a one-way deal for all three years.
Lashoff, who went undrafted out of the Ontario Hockey League, made his NHL debut with Detroit in January and has one goal and two assists in 13 games while playing nearly 19 minutes a game.
