The Whitworth University baseball team has talked all season long about wanting three dog piles. The first, to celebrate a conference title. Check. The second, to celebrate an NCAA Regional title. Check. Now the Bucs have a chance for that third dog pile, which they could earn by winning it all at the NCAA Division III World Series this weekend in Appleton, Wisconsin.

The Bucs (30-14-1) open play in the late game on Friday night against number one ranked, and defending national champion Marietta (43-7). It's the final game of the first day of the double elimination tournament. First pitch scheduled for 5:45 p.m. pacific time.

Whitworth head coach Dan Ramsay, sophomore Gerhard Muelheims, and freshman Spencer Ansett share their thoughts about winning last weekend's regional tournament win, and the upcoming World Series.
