In two battles of top teams in the GSL, the Central Valley boys and Gonzaga Prep girls remained undefeated with home wins on Tuesday night.

The Bears (3-0) went down to the wire with University (2-1). Adam Chamberlain's free throw with 1.4 seconds left gave CV a 54-53 win. Brett Bailey scored 20 points for the Titans.

The Bullpups (3-0) got a severe challenge from Lewis & Clark (2-1). The Tigers had a one point lead at half, and would lead by as many as six in the third quarter before Prep stormed back to take control by the end of the frame, winning 77-66. Otiona Gildon scored 24 points for the Pups. Taylor Howlett led the Tigers with 14.

In other girls action, Ferris (2-1) knocked off Mt. Spokane (2-1) 57-53. The Saxons led by 11 after the first quarter, but thanks to 19 points from senior Brooke Reilly, the Cats rallied to make it a game. Britney Johnson led Ferris with 17 points.
