Fans were treated to an exciting game at the 19th annual Jack Blair All-Star Classic on Monday night at University High School as the Metro team held off the Region squad 80-79.

Central Valley's Brooke Gallaway hit a free throw with five seconds remaining to give Metro the win. Gonzaga Prep's Lindsay Stockton was named the MVP, finishing with 16 points for the Metro. Clarkston's Jamie Weisner was named the games Most Inspirational Player. The Oregon State bound guard had a game high 18 points in a losing effort for the Region.

Team Metro looked like it was going to run away with the game early, jumping out to a 36-21 lead in the first half. But Lewiston's Chelsea Waters, who will play for Gonzaga next season, scored the bulk of her points in a 19-4 run that helped the Region tie the game at 40 by half.
