In what was supposed to be a match-up between two of the top teams in the Greater Spokane League, Gonzaga Prep ran away from Ferris, 39-13, improving to 3-0 on the season.

Ferris fell to 2-1 after being unable to stop the Bullpups option oriented run attack. GPrep rushed for 442 yards led by quarterback Zach Bonneau who had 140 yards rushing and three touchdowns. Tom Davis ran for 92 yards and scored two times, and Griffin Hare carried the ball for 102 yards.

The Saxons actually took a 7-0 lead to start the game on a 39 yard touchdown run by Gunnar Seefeld. But Prep scored the next 32 points, turning the game into a rout.
