Coeur d'Alene survives Mercer Island, 39-21

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho -

Coeur d'Alene had to battle back from a second half deficit, but the Vikings were able to pull away in the end, beating Mercer Island 39-21 in a non-league game at CDA High School on Saturday.

The Vikings led 17-7 at the half after Marques Mort rushed for a 13-yard touchdown and Gunnar Amos found Jackson Carlson with a 14-yard touchdown pass.

CDA trailed 21-20 in the fourth quarter, but regained the lead with 7:10 to play.  They added two more scores to solidify their 24th consecutive win.
