The Gonzaga men's basketball program landed a very 'big' recruit on Wednesday. 7 foot center Przemek Karnowski from Poland, tweeted he would attend GU in 2012.

Karnowski visited Gonzaga's campus a week and a half ago after reportedly taking a recruiting trip to Cal. After spending time in Spokane, the 19 year old then canceled a scheduled visit to Duke to return home to Poland to mull over his decision.

Karnowski averaged 13.2 points, and 6.2 rebounds for Poland in nine games at the U-19 World Championships last summer in Latvia. He was also being recruited by national powers Kansas and Duke. Many college basketball analysts are calling this a major get for Mark Few's program. Karnowski is being touted as a "McDonald's All-American type" recruit who is technically skilled.
