SPOKANE INTERSTATE FAIR KICK-OFF EVENT: KXLY 4 is proud to announce that on Sunday, September 16, 2012, we will be launching our 27th Annual Coats 4 Kids Drive at the Spokane Interstate Fair. For every new or gently used winter coat you donate at the Coats 4 Kids tent near each Fair entrance, you will receive a FREE Fair Admission ticket for a child (13 years or younger) for that day. So please join us on Sunday, September 16, at the Spokane Fairgrounds and help get this year's event off to a terrific start! The Fair hours for this day are 10am – 8pm. BECK'S HARVEST HOUSE CORN MAZE EVENT: We also have another great event planned to help kick off Coats 4 Kids this year in September. On Friday, September 28, Beck’s Harvest House in Greenbluff is teaming up with Coats 4 Kids from 4pm - 9pm at the newly redesigned Harvest House Corn Maze. If you bring a new or gently used winter coat to the event, you will get one FREE admission to walk the Corn Maze. Each donated coat is good for one FREE admission. The hilled entranced to the maze is now paved and there is a new play area for kids including a jump pillow and cow train rides. If you arrive in the evening hours, be sure each person brings a flashlight. Once again, the event kicks off at 4pm and will be a lot of fun for the whole family. DONATE NOW:

With the help of our generous community, we have collected and distributed nearly 275,000 coats for area children these past 26 years. Cold days are just around the corner and we need your help to make sure every child has a coat to keep them warm again this year. We will begin distributing the cleaned coats on Monday, October 22, 2012 and we will have a complete list of Distribution Locations on KXLY.com in early October.
