Anusha Roy joined the KXLY news team in April 2011 as the North Idaho Reporter.

She's a Washington native, born and brought up in the Seattle area. A University of Washington graduate, Anusha anchored her love for journalism with her first TV internship in India. She continued to explore broadcast journalism in the Seattle and Yakima area.

Anusha started her broadcast career in Tri-Cities, Washington as a reporter for KVEW-TV, the ABC affiliate.

When she's not working, Anusha likes to spend her time on the performing arts. She's trained in South Indian Classic Dance and enjoys teaching as well as performing.

She's very excited to explore North Idaho, become a part of the community and report on meaningful stories that matter to the viewers.
