Colleen O'Brien is a Weekend Anchor and Reporter and has been a part of the KXLY 4 News team since July 2008.

Colleen spent three years on the Good Morning Northwest team featuring websites in her Cool Clicks segment and providing breaking news updates before making the move to anchoring the weekend shows and reporting three days a week.

Colleen loves the challenge of anchoring and the freedom that reporting in the field gives her.

She lives in Spokane with her soon-to-be husband, Kris. They love cooking vegetarian cuisine and eating out at Spokane's growing list of restaurants. They're both avid gardeners and make wood pens in their spare time (a hobby Colleen picked up when Woodcraft came on Good Morning Northwest).

Before coming to KXLY 4, Colleen worked as an anchor, reporter and editor for KOMO Newsradio in Seattle for four years. She studied at the University of Washington and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and a minor in Women's Studies.
