Sally Showman joined the KXLY team in June of 2008. Sally grew up in Seattle but left Washington for seven years to go to college and start her broadcasting career.

She went to school at Santa Clara University. After college, she moved to east Idaho where she took her first reporting job in Idaho Falls at the ABC affiliate, KIFI. While in Idaho, Sally became an outdoor enthusiast. She loves to hike, ski, run and even fly fish.

Sally will graduate from Mississippi State University in the spring of 2012 with a Meteorology degree. She loves the challenge of forecasting for the Inland Northwest. Major snow storms make for exciting days at work and why she earned the nickname "Sally Snowman."
