Bud Nameck is the host of the KXLY Morning News on KXLY 920. An Emmy Award winner, Bud has been a part of the KXLY family since 1982, starting as the Sports Director on television. Following 13 years on TV, Bud moved to radio and spent 10 years as the host of the KXLY Morning News. Bud returns to the KXLY Morning News following a stint handling administration and sales on the Cougar Sports Radio Network.

Nameck has been broadcasting WSU Cougar sports since 1981. A two time Sportscaster of the Year in the State of Washington, Bud has been the voice of Cougar basketball for 17 years.

An avid golfer, Bud, his wife Di, and daughter Kelsey love the quality of life in Spokane.
