Three arrested in overnight pot shop robberies

SPOKANE, Wash. - Three young men were arrested early Friday morning in North Spokane after police say they broke in and robbed three recreation marijuana stores.

The first robbery happened just after midnight at Cannabis and Glass, 9400 E. Trent in Spokane Valley. About an hour later, police say the trio broke into Sativa Sisters, 10525 E. Trent in Spokane Valley but were not successful in stealing any product.

Finally, police say the three robbers broke into another Cannabis and Glass store in North Spokane at 605 E. Francis. Officers were able to catch up with them there and took 19-year-old Nathaniel Swanson, 20-year-old Michael Swanson and another juvenile male into custody. 

They will face charges in Spokane for 2nd degree theft, 2nd degree burglary and 2nd degree malicious mischief. The sheriff's office is still determining what charges they will face in Spokane County.
