Christian techies around the world may soon be singing the praises of a new touch display tablet designed to bridge the gap between technology and religion.
Family Christian's Edifi is being marketed as the world’s first Christian tablet, and comes with a 7-inch HD screen, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of expandable storage, porn blockers, Wi-Fi Christian radio and 27 different translations of the Bible -- all for only $149.99.
Brian Honorable, a technology supervisor at Family Christian, told FoxNews.com that the Edifi, "Goes along with our mission: trying to get people closer to God … through a tablet."
Honorable said the family-friendly device runs on an Android-based platform and is comparable to Amazon's Kindle Fire.
"The battery is actually stronger than everybody else out there on the market," Honorable told Fox.
The Edifi is available for sale at Family Christian stores and includes a heavenly stand and a rejoice-worthy integrated cover.
