COLFAX, Washington -

A Malden woman accused of helping dispose of the body of a teenager who overdosed on methamphetamine has pleaded guilty.

Chastity Bilderback, 38, pleaded guilty Thursday to misdemeanor rendering criminal assistance in Whitman County Superior Court.

She was sentenced to 45 days in jail.

Her boyfriend, Bobby Bilderback, 44, of Malden was convicted of controlled substance homicide for providing 17-year-old Donavin Stapert with methamphetamine. Stapert fatally overdosed at Bilderback’s home in March.

The Bilderbacks, and 30-year-old James Ramson of Spokane, put Stapert’s body in a safe and buried it in Spokane County.

Bobby Bilderback was sentenced to five and a half years in prison while Ramson previously pleaded guilty to misdemeanor unlawful disposal of human remains and was sentenced to two months in jail.
