SPOKANE, Wash. -

The Pacific Northwest Qualifier Volleyball Tournament will host 603 teams at the Spokane Convention Center.

The younger age groups played March 21-23, and older age groups March 28-30.

The tournament is one of the highest grossing events for Spokane, bringing in players and their families from all over the country.

Each team has the option to choose which qualifier they want to attend, and this year more people are choosing Spokane.

"This year we have actually had about a 25% growth and we have 120-something more teams than we have had in the previous years so we've grown dramatically," said Ross Poage, the Executive Director of the tournament.

The winner of each division will earn a bid to compete for a national championship in Minneapolis later this year.
