Sixteen teams from 12 countries are competing in a video game tournament in Seattle with prizes worth $2.8 million.
The second day of the tournament called The International drew about 1,800 spectators Thursday at Benaroya Hall to cheer on their favorite team.
Teams of five players each compete in Dota 2, a multiplayer, action-strategy game.
The Seattle Times reports the tournament was organized by the game maker Valve. Competition continues until Sunday.
