MUKILTEO, Wash. -

Vandalism and thefts have disrupted a project to improve the Mukilteo Little League.

KING-TV reports that thieves have stolen equipment, batteries and building materials in recent months, while spray-painted graffiti has added to the costs. Now the project to build a club house and snack shop at Paine Field Community Park may be delayed.

Fourteen-year-old Kelly Houston is one of the players that have spent hours working on the new facility. He says it's sad because the project may be delayed.

Authorities don't know who is responsible for the vandalism and thefts. Most of the $100,000 dedicated to the project was raised by the community.
