SPOKANE, Wash. -

Spokane police have made an arrest in connection with a stabbing at the Bel Franklin apartments Monday night. 

Police arrested 26-year-old Edward Bobby Donoian on charges of first-degree assault.

Officers believe Donoian confronted the victim at his apartment at the Bel Franklin on Division and Spokane Falls Blvd. and stabbed him. The victim also stabbed Donoian.

Donoian fled the scene and was located near 600 N. Riverpoint Blvd.

Police say the stabbing was not random. 

Donoian will appear in court Thursday afternoon.
