SPOKANE, Wash. -

Spokane Police are investigating a shooting in the West Central neighborhood.

Police responded to the 2100 block of West Sharp Ave. around 8:00 Tuesday, after receiving reports that a man had been shot.

The man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police said they do not have anyone in custody, but do not believe the public is in danger. They are questioning several people, including neighbors.

Spokane Police Corporal Teresa Fuller says this exact home was part of a shooting incident earlier this summer.

“This is a house that we were previously at at the end of July of this year,” said Cpl. Fuller. “So we have major crimes and the safe streets task force is here as well. Conducting the investigation as well.”

On that day, a man was shot and killed in the 1300 of W. Maxwell. Two hours later, another two men were shot at the same address where Tuesday's shooting occurred.
