Fall is in the air. It's a "fa-boo-iously" frightful and festive time of year.
“But, of course, the Fall Festival time is the busiest time up here,” said Todd Beck, owner of Beck's Harvest House.
Harvest House kicked off its Fall Festival last week.
“So many people can come up here and really enjoy the farm,” said Beck.
On its busiest day, the farm could see up to 5,000 people. But there's plenty for everyone to do!
In the Friendly Family Farm Funland there are wagon rides, bounce houses and tire mountain with a new tube slide. It costs $10 to get in, but you get one dollar off if you buy a ticket online, with $1 going to charity.
“Family Friendly Farm Funland's main attraction this year is a five acre corn maze,” said Beck. “Fun for the entire family. This year carved into it is Linus waiting for the giant pumpkin.”
And if you're anything like Linus, you'll be searching for your perfect pumpkin.
“We sell tens of thousands of pounds of pumpkins every year,” said Beck.
The farm offers fresh produce like apples and gourds.
“Gourds are great for decorating because they're really hard and they last really well,” said Beck.
And if you're looking for a bite to eat...
“Our famous pumpkin donuts, our pumpkin pies are fresh made every day,” said Beck. “You name it, there's so much good stuff up here to eat. So definitely come up hungry.”
Beck's Harvest House is open every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
