SPOKANE, Wash. -

Spokane Police confirmed they are investigating the deaths of two people who were found in a mobile home fire Monday as a murder-suicide.

Police say they believe the homicide suspect shot the other person inside the residence, set fire to the mobile home and then committed suicide. A gun was found at the scene of the fire.

The Spokane County Medical Examiner, meanwhile, has confirmed the identity of one of the two people who were found deceased in a mobile home fire near Spokane Monday.

Keith Barber, 50, was one of the two people found dead in a mobile home fire at the Cascade Mobile Home Park, located at 2311 W. 16th off Highway 195.

The medical examiner has not released the cause of Barber's death, saying that the cause is "pending further investigation."
