A Laurel man convicted for a drunken road rage crash that left two people with permanent injuries has been sentenced to five years with the Department of Corrections with two suspended.
The Billings Gazette reports District Judge Russell Fagg sentenced 36-year-old Jeremy Todd Fake on Tuesday.
Fake was convicted of assault with a weapon, criminal endangerment and misdemeanor DUI for using his pickup truck to repeatedly hit a sport utility vehicle in Laurel in November 2012 and then pulling out a pistol and firing a shot.
A woman who was in the SUV said she has post-traumatic stress disorder, suffers migraines and has permanent nerve damage in her hands.
Fake said his wife called him and said she had been chased by the SUV. The victims said Kristen Fake tried to run them off the road.
