A 30-year-old Spokane man accused of helping dispose of the body of a Malden teenager who died of a drug overdose has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor.
James Ramson pleaded guilty last Friday in Whitman County Superior Court to unlawful disposal of human remains.
Ramson helped Bobby Bilderback and his girlfriend place the body of 17-year-old Donavin Stapert in a safe and buried it in Spokane County. Stapert fatally overdosed on meth provided by Bilderback at his home last March.
Ramson was sentenced to two months in jail.
Bilderback recently pleaded guilty to substance abuse homicide and was sentenced to five and a half years in prison. The case against his girlfriend, Chastity Barkhurr, is still pending.
