LIBERTY LAKE WANTS TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR US TO REMEMBER
OUR SERVICEMEN AND WOMEN AND THEIR SACRIFICE EVERY
DAY OF THE YEAR.
TODAY THE COMMUNITY DEDICATED A WORKOUT STATION TO
A FAIRCHILD PILOT RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THEIR BUSIEST
KXLY4'S JEFF HUMPHREY SHOWS US A NEW AND HEALTHY WAY
OF MAKING SURE OUR VETERANS ARE NEVER FORGOTTEN.
THIS IS ACTUALLY LIBERTY LAKE'S SECOND FALLEN HEROES
CIRCUIT COURSE. THIS ONE HERE ON PAVILION PARK HONORS
CAPTAIN VICTORIA PINCKNEY... BUT NOT BECAUSE SHE DIED
IN A PLANE CRASH BUT BECAUSE SHE LIVED A FULL LIFE
EMBRACING THE SPOKANE COMMUNITY.
AND WHAT BETTER PLACE THAN LIBERTY LAKE'S PAVILION
PARK TO REMEMBER THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE SERVED OUR COUNTRY.
TODAY OUR VETERANS WERE CALLED OUT FRONT AND CENTER
FOR RECOGNITION FROM THE APPRECIATIVE CROWD.
what's happening in liberty lake is that the rotary
club has created that re-enactment of the community
coming together and honoring our vets
AND TODAY WAS TIME TO HONOR A FAIRCHILD CREW KILLED
LAST YEAR DURING A REFUELING MISSION OVER KRYGYZSTAN.
CAPTAIN VICTORIA PINCKNEY'S MOTHER WAS ON HAND WHEN
A FALLEN HEROES CIRCUIT COURSE WAS DEDICATED TO HER
kinda gives meaning tow working out and what we have
in this beautiful country to go and get some good
exercise and teach our children about it and what
better way than a park that everyone goes to everyday
AND BOTH KIDS AND ADULTS WHO USE THIS CIRCUIT COURSE
WILL ADMIRE CAPTAIN PINCKNEY.
A WOMAN WHO FLEW MULTI-MILLION
DOLLAR PLANES AROUND THE WORLD BUT VOLUNTEERED IN
SPOKANE SOUP KITCHENS.
air force academy graduate, played on the rugby team
for the air force and she was a black belt in karate.
she was a pilot, kc-135 pilot and then she was a recent
mother and through all that she didn't forget her
LIBERTY LAKE INTENDS TO HONOR ALL BRANCHES OF THE
MILITARY WITH WITH FIVE CIRCUIT COURSES SPREAD OF
A FIVE MILE JOGGING TRAIL.
THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE HERE NOT TOO BUSY OR SUCCESSFUL
