LEWISTON, Idaho -

A judge in north-central Idaho has dismissed a lawsuit brought by a former Lewiston Police Department dispatcher who said she was mistreated after complaining of sexual misconduct.

The Lewiston Tribune reported Friday that the judge found Melissa Taylor hadn't presented facts substantiating her claim that she had to resign after experiencing a hostile work environment and severe emotional distress.

Taylor said in her lawsuit against the department that she was treated poorly after she accused a Lewiston police officer of trying to have sex with her against her will in October 2010. The police officer remains employed by the department.
