Thompson Falls, MT -

An official with the National Transportation Safety Board says the occupants of a helicopter that crashed over the weekend near Thompson Falls had been conducting a survey of power lines.
   NTSB investigator Tom Little told the Missoulian  one of the survivors reported the helicopter suddenly went out of control and crashed Saturday afternoon. One person was killed and two were injured. Their names haven't been released.
   Little and Sanders County Sheriff Tom Rummel declined to identify the passengers, their employer or the owner of the helicopter.
   The NTSB continues to investigate.
