GREAT FALLS, Mont. -

Police say a Great Falls man has been charged with attempted homicide after a stabbing sent two people to the hospital.

The Great Falls Tribune reports 29-year-old Theodore Edward Bear also faces charges of elder abuse, aggravated assault and evidence tampering.

The victims in Monday morning's stabbings are two of Bear's relatives. One, a 27-year-old woman, was stabbed five times. The other is older than 65.

Both are expected to make a full recovery.

Police found Bear a short distance from the apartment complex and the knife believed to be used in the attack.

Sgt. Bryan Slavik says Bear had injured himself jumping through a glass window

Bear has two past domestic violence convictions and is facing charges in a third domestic violence case from October.
