SPOKANE, Wash. -

Crews battled a fire at North Central High School on Wednesday morning.

The fire was in the area under construction at the high school.

Students were evacuated while crews contained the blaze.

At 10:06 a.m., Spokane Schools Tweeted "NOTICE: @NCHSindians evacuated due to a fire in construction area. The fire has now been contained & school is expected to resume shortly."

Paramedics were seen treating a man, believed to be a construction worker. The man was coughing as he walked to an ambulance.
