SPOKANE, Wash. -

A north Spokane apartment complex sustained some serious damage after it was hit by a car Tuesday night.

Around 7 p.m. a car crashed into the Northridge Court Apartments at Five Mile.

Two girls were in a car, when they say another woman hit them with her car, then sped off. The girls say they followed her to the apartment complex, where she lost control.

"They were going to fast and couldn't get it under control and so they went up on the curb and ran into an apartment complex," said Samantha Hansen, someone who lives in the complex.

Police say the driver who hit the building did not appear to be drunk. Neither the driver or passenger in either car were hurt.

There's not word yet on repairs to the building.
