SPOKANE, Wash. -

An Alaska Airlines flight out of Spokane International Airport (GEG) had to turn around and make an emergency landing just before 11 a.m. Monday.

Alaska Airlines flight 2327 to Seattle had to land at GEG due to a mechanical issue approximately 30 minutes after taking off, according to airport marketing and public affairs official Todd Woodward.

There were 73 passengers on board. No word yet on how they will be rerouted.
